Justice Oagile Key Dingake
Hon. Justice Professor Oagile Bethuel Key Dingake, Ph.D., has served as a judge for more than a decade. In that time, he has sat on the High Court of Botswana, the Industrial Court of Botswana, the Residual Special Court for Sierra Leone, and the Supreme and National Courts of Papua New Guinea.
He has an LLM from the University of London and a PhD from the University of Cape Town, with many of his decisions and judgments cited in the United Nations’ agencies’ teaching materials.
Through his judgments he is known for his respect for the dignity of the litigants, clarity of writing, familiarity of the law from other jurisdictions, concern for the rights of those involved, and intolerance of injustice.
