The Judiciary has appointed Sasha-Lee Marivel as its new Public Relations Officer effective 2 July 2020. Marivel, who holds a Curtin Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications, will facilitate our mandate to strengthen our relationship with the media and the public. She is based at the Supreme Court, Ile du Port, under the Chief Justice’s Office.
Marivel graduated from the Charles Telfair Institute Mauritius in 2014 where she studied Communications and majored in Journalism and Public Relations. She interned at the PR & Communications firm, Blast Burson-Marsteller, then worked as a journalist with the newspaper Today in Seychelles from 2015 to 2018. Prior to her appointment at the Judiciary, she was working as a self-employed Media Consultant for private clients and companies throughout 2019.
