Kimberly Pillay and Kwantema Simara were both admitted to the Bar on Thursday 19 January 2023 in a ceremony in Court Room 1 before the Chief Justice Rony Govinden, where they took their oaths.

Both lawyers were accompanied by fellow colleagues, family, and friends for this special occasion.
Ms. Pillay completed her 2 year pupillage with the lawyers’ office of Mr. Guy Ferley, and received her lawyer’s degree from the University of London.
Ms. Simara completed her 2 year pupillage with the lawyers’ office Georges & Co. and received her degree from the University of London as well.
