The Judiciary of Seychelles welcomed a new member to the legal profession on Wednesday 21 October, as Anissa Hermitte was formally called to the Bar during a ceremony held in Courtroom 1 of the Supreme Court before the Chief Justice.
The occasion was attended by members of the Judiciary, legal practitioners, as well as Ms. Hermitte’s family and friends, who gathered to celebrate this significant milestone in her legal career.
Ms. Hermitte holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London awarded in 2015, and successfully completed her Bar Vocational Course in December 2023. She undertook her two-year pupillage at the Attorney General’s office, completing it in September 2026 and fulfilling the professional requirements for admission as an Attorney-at-Law in Seychelles.
