The International Commission for Dispute Resolution ONLINE (ICDRO) has announced through its Council and President, James Corbett KC, of the appointment of Justice Samia Cecile Bella Andre as Deputy President (Hon.) on Tuesday 18 November 2025.
Justice Andre will be supporting the ICDRO mission to advance alternate dispute resolution policies in states and corporations, as well as broader activities. She currently serves as a Justice of the Court of Appeal in Seychelles and as a judge at the COMESA Court of Justice. She is pursuing a doctorate in laws at the University of Cape Town and is a prospective members of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
With over two decades in the Seychelles Judiciary, rising from State Counsel to a highly respected appellate judge, Justice Andre is renown for her leadership, incisive analysis, and delivering high quality judgments in complex civil and commercial cases.
