Michelle Sharon Marguerite was officially admitted as an Attorney at Law in a formal ceremony on Thursday 26 August 2021 in court room 1 before Chief Justice Rony Govinden and with the assistance of the court staff.
Marguerite acquired a Law degree by online correspondence studies at the University of London, and passed the Bar course and examination through the University of Seychelles in 2014.
She then completed her pupilage of two years starting in September 2018 with the chambers of Mr. S. Rajasundarum.
The ceremony consisted of a short introduction by Mr. Rajasundarum, followed by her taking an oath and signing relevant paperwork confirming her admission. This was done in the presence of the Chief Justice, Registrar of the Supreme Court, some colleagues and family members.
