Rhea Rene took her oaths before the Chief Justice on Friday 26 April 2024 at the Supreme Court.

For the occasion, her pupil master Ms. Benoiton expressed great pride and admiration for Ms. Rene’s work ethic, stating that she has earned respect in her work.

“She has showcased confident advocacy skills in the courtroom,” Benoiton explained, adding that in addition, her empathy, integrity, and genuine desire to help represent people makes her stand out.

Some of her colleagues, such as Edith Wong, also supported the affidavit, noting that, “She is a diligent worker and I look forward to seeing her walk in our hallways of justice.”

Furthermore, colleague Ms. Afif recalled witnessing Ms. Rene working diligently in a recent murder trial alongside Ms. Benoiton. “They were also quick to research, and I see that this kind of resourcefulness sets her apart,” she added when recalling an appeal they had worked on together.

Rhea Rene holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of London and passed her Bar Exam in December 2021. She completed her 2 year pupillage under the Chambers of Alexandra Benoiton- Attorney at Law on 11 April 2024.
