Juliana Esticot (nee Belisee, formerly Legaie) was born in Victoria and raised at Anse Aux Pins, Mahé, Seychelles. She attended the Anse Aux Pins School up to S4 and then joined the National Youth Service at Port Launay. She then attended the Seychelles Polytechnic, joined the Seychelles Police Force and later attended the University of London where she studied Bachelor of Laws. She then sat for her Bar Vocational Exams in Seychelles and thereafter joined the Ministry of Environment in 2008.
She was appointed as the Registrar of the Supreme Court in November 2013, a post she holds to date. She was called to the Bar in 2015. She is married and has a son called Joshua.
