As the conferencing activities came to an end, the spouses of the visiting Chief Justices for the Southern and Eastern Africa Chief Justices’ Forum (SEACJF), paid a courtesy call on the First Lady, Mrs. Veronique Herminie on Friday 24 April 2026.
The meeting provided a warm and relaxed setting for cultural exchange and dialogue, complementing the formal judicial discussions that took place throughout the week. Conversations centred on the rich diversity of cultures and traditions across the participating countries, offering an opportunity for the spouses to share insights into their respective backgrounds and experiences.
The spouses also highlighted the unique beauty and identity of Seychelles, with discussions reflecting a shared appreciation for the country’s natural environment, heritage, and hospitality. The visit concluded with an exchange of gifts, symbolising friendship, mutual respect, and the strengthening of ties between Seychelles and the participating nations.
