The Supreme Court of Seychelles welcomed two new members to the legal profession during a Call to the Bar ceremony held on Thursday, 25 June 2026, before the Chief Justice.

Ms. Debbie Mills and Ms. Dericka Arrisol were formally admitted as Attorneys-at-Law following the successful completion of the academic and professional requirements prescribed under the Legal Practitioners Act.

Ms. Debbie Mills holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London, which she obtained in 2022. She successfully completed the Seychelles Bar Examination in 2023 before undertaking the mandatory two-year pupillage in the chambers of Ms. Karen Domingue.

Ms. Dericka Arrisol also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London, graduating in December 2022. After successfully passing the Seychelles Bar Examination, she completed her pupillage at the Attorney General’s Office, where she has been serving since 1 December 2022.

The Call to the Bar marks an important milestone in the careers of newly qualified legal practitioners, formally admitting them to practise before the courts of Seychelles and to serve the public in the administration of justice.
