The exam to be admitted as an Attorney-at-Law will be held from 16th November to 27th November 2026 at the Palais de Justice. All eligible candidates wishing to sit the Examinations should register with the Registrar of the Supreme Court (registrar@judiciary.gov.sc) no later than 21st October 2026.
The examinations for admission for Attorney-At-Law in terms of section 5(1)(a)(v) and section 20 of the Legal Practitioner’s Act shall be held on the following dates at 9am at the Palais de Justice:
- Monday 16th November 2026 Paper 1: Civil Code of Seychelles Book II and Book III
- Tuesday 17th November 2026 Paper 2: Seychelles Code of Civil Procedure
- Thursday 19th November 2026 Paper 3:
(i) Immovable property (Judicial Sales) Act
(ii) The Immovable Property (Transfer Restriction) Act
(iii) The Land Registration Act
(iv) The Mortgage and Registrations Act - Friday 20th November 2026 Paper 4:
(i) Penal Code
(ii) Criminal Procedure Code - Monday 23rd November 2026 Paper 5: General Principles of Law of Evidence
- Tuesday 24th November 2026 Paper 6: Commercial Code/Company Law
- Thursday 26th November 2026 Paper 7: Civil Code of Seychelles Book I and all law to be read as part thereof
- Friday 27th November 2026 Paper 8: Constitutional and Administrative Law
Candidates who intend to sit the examinations shall apply to the Registrar of the Supreme Court before 21st October 2026 enclosing a certified copy of their certificate of completion of a qualifying degree in law, and payment of an examination fee of SCR 5000.00 (five thousand rupees).
No application will be accepted after 21st October 2026.
