My name is Sumita Valmont of Anse Aux Pins, Mahe. A Mother of two. I am currently the Senior Assistant Registrar of the Civil Division of the Supreme Court of Seychelles. I completed Primary School at Anse Aux Pins and Secondary School at Pointe Larue.

In June 2003, I started my first job as Law Clerk with the Judiciary at the Civil Division. After three years in 2006, I was promoted to the post of Senior Law Clerk. In 2013 I was promoted to the post of Assistant Registrar followed by the promotion of Senior Assistant Registrar in 2022.

During my time at the Judiciary, I attended and completed numerous training courses with the Guy Morel Institute including Customer Relations, Supervisory Skills, Team Building, Target Setting and Appraisal, Intensive Training in Civil Mediation and Completed General Management in 2022.
