Marie-Angele Barbe is currently the Deputy Registrar of the Criminal Division of the Supreme Court of Seychelles. She went to La Rosiere Primary school and Belonie Secondary school. After that, she studied for three years at the Seychelles Polytechnic. In March 2004 she started her first job as Law Clerk with the Judiciary at the Magistrates’ Court registry. In 2007 she was promoted to the post of Senior Law Clerk then two years later, in 2009 she was promoted to the post of Assistant Registrar. In March 2017 she was promoted to the post of Senior Assistant Registrar at the Supreme Court
